Goldfish Sake & the Wooden Barrel:

A Sake-Driven Multi-Course Kaiseki Dinner with Imayo Tsukasa

June 7th, 2017 in the Private Room at Brushstroke

We invite you to experience the purity and tradition of Japanese craft sake at brushstroke.

We will pay tribute to the craft, passion and dedication of the master brewer of Imayo Tsukasa – one of the premier sake breweries in Japan, established in 1767 – through an intimate experience for only 30 guests with the CEO of the brewery.

Brushstroke’s sommelier Josh Copeland will guide you through a multi-course, sake-inspired kaiseki experience designed by Chef Isao Yamada in collaboration with Imyo Tsukasa’s toji and kurabito.

The evening will begin with an introduction by the CEO of Imayo Tsukasa about the Kura and its history along with the brewery’s plans for the future. Guests will then enjoy a seasonal, progressive tasting menu accompanied by a sake pairing curated by Imayo Tsukasa’s master brewer Osamu Takasugi.

Brushstroke, 30 Hudson Street
