Chef David Bouley’s legacy lives on not just in the dishes he created but in the hearts he touched. His extraordinary passion, imaginative creativity, and unfaltering dedication to excellence have left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of experiencing his culinary masterpieces. We honor his memory and celebrate his life, a life that has made a life-altering and enduring impact on many.
Chef David Bouley died from a hereditary heart condition, Left Bundle Branch Block (LBBB), Asystole, on February 13th, 2024.
David always wanted to start a foundation to share his life’s experiences. Today we are able to fulfill his vision with the incorporation of the David Bouley Living Pantry Foundation.
